
On November 8th from 5:15-6:00 in the High School Gym Lobby, we will honor ANY senior student-athlete that has signed to play collegiate athletics. Attention Tinora Elementary Parents: The annual Title 1 Reading Program Informational Night will be on Monday, November 6 at 6:00 PM in the TES Cafeteria. If you are interested in learning more about our Title 1 Reading Program and other reading interventions that TES offers, please plan on attending this event.

THS will operate on a 1-hour early dismissal schedule on Wednesday, November 1. We WILL NOT be dismissing early. Instead we will be holding an assembly for students beginning at 2:00 p.m. Students will be dismissed at the normal time (3:12 p.m.). Students enrolled in CCP courses should plan accordingly and plan to attend the assembly at 2:00 p.m. if possible.

The Tinora German Club will be selling traditional Advent calendars this year starting today, until they are sold out. Calendars will be $4 a piece. Checks can be made out to Tinora German Club. To purchase your Advent calendar(s), please contact a German student or email Herr Acker at tacker@tinora.org. Mrs. Schafer in the High School office will also have calendars available during the school day.

THS picture retakes are scheduled for Friday, November 3. Any student who has not had their picture taken or would like a retake should immediately report to stage in the cafeteria when arriving to school. Students attending Four County or those enrolled in CCP classes should get their pictures taken before school. We will begin taking pictures at 7:30 a.m.

Tinora Drama Department presents "You Can't Take It With You" this weekend at the Tinora Performing Arts Center. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 PM and Sunday at 2:30 PM. Come join us for a classic comedy about the Sycamore family. Tickets are available at Eventbrite or will be sold in person on Tuesday at the high school outside the office.

October 27th Tinora will be hosting an OHSAA Playoff Football Game vs. Wynford at 7:00. Tickets can be purchased online or with cash at the gate. If you purchase tickets online they will be cheaper. If you choose to purchase with cash it is a flat rate of $15 per person (OHSAA guidelines). Tinora will offer 3 gates to enter the stadium; 2 of them are for PRESALE and 1 of them is for CASH buyers. OHSAA Regional Cross Country Information: Date: October 28th, 10:00a girls race and 10:45a boys race -- Location: Hedges Boyer Park 491 Coe St Tiffin OH 44883 -- Parking: will be available at the Tiffin YMCA and United Baptist Church for a fee. Spectators may also park in the National Machinery lots for free -- Tickets: because the event is NOT on school grounds they are NOT required to offer cash tickets. You MUST buy a presale ticket online at ohsaa.org/tickets -- Go Rams!

The Central Office has organized a community event fundraiser to benefit our supporting organizations. On Thursday November 16, from 7-8:30 pm the district is hosting world-renowned magician and illusionist, Krendl, to perform a family-oriented performance at the TPAC. Krendl’s extensive magic career has been in traveling the world serving the resort, theater, casino and cruise entertainment industry. We are very fortunate to have him visit Defiance, thanks to a local connection.
