On June 2, 2025, the Tinora Performing Arts Center was filled with ram pride and a few happy tears as Tinora High School honored the graduating Class of 2025. A total of 86 students earned their diplomas this year, with 83 of them participating in the commencement ceremony. Joining them on stage was one exchange student who received a certificate of attendance, bringing the number of students recognized during the ceremony to 84.
Principal Alex Nafziger, who has been with this class throughout their entire high school journey, shared heartfelt words during the event:
“This class will always be special to me as they’re the first group I’ve had all four years as principal. I’ve watched them grow from freshmen into confident seniors ready to take on the world. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to really get to know them and their families. I’m really proud of the people they’ve become, and I can’t wait to see the difference they’ll make out there. The future is brighter because of them!”
The Tinora High School Choir gave a moving performance of “Bridge Over Troubled Water”. The Class of 2025 chose “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield as their class song—a song full of hope and possibility. The class flower, the sunflower, symbolized warmth, positivity, and the bright future ahead for each graduate. The class color, green, represented growth, renewal, and the strong roots these students have formed during their time at Tinora.
As graduates tossed their caps and turned their tassels, they stepped forward into the next chapter of their lives—whether that be college, careers, or service. One thing is certain: the Tinora community is proud of their achievements and excited for all they will accomplish in the future.
Congratulations to the Tinora High School Class of 2025!
