We are excited to introduce Ryan Mays as the new Director of the Tinora Performing Arts Center (TPAC)!
Ryan is a proud northwest Ohio native and Patrick Henry graduate who now proudly calls himself a Ram. He brings a wealth of academic and professional theater experience to Tinora, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Columbus State University in Georgia. His background includes work with The Carolina Opry, The Georgia Theatre Conference, The Toledo Repertoire Theatre, The Franciscan Center of Lourdes College, Summerstock at the University of Findlay, and Defiance College.
In addition to his new role at the PAC, Ryan serves as a 7th & 8th-grade paraprofessional at Tinora Middle School. He has already been a familiar face in our performing arts programs, accompanying musical activities, designing sets for the acclaimed production of Fiddler on the Roof, and beginning this season, directing our spring musicals.
As PAC Director, Ryan looks forward to fostering a wide variety of performances and events, enriching the artistic and academic life of Tinora students, and creating exciting programming for both our school and the greater community.
Outside of the theater, Ryan enjoys making music at the piano or organ, church activities, scuba diving, spontaneous road trips, exploring Ohio’s hidden gems (especially the Hocking Hills), and spending time with his family and nephews.
Please join us in welcoming Ryan Mays to his new role. Our Tinora Performing Arts Center is in wonderful hands!
