Tinora Student wins national photography award

Tinora Schools are proud to celebrate an outstanding student achievement.

Alesha Scott has been selected as the grand prize winner of a regional photography contest hosted by Jostens. The annual contest includes entries from approximately 160 schools, and Alesha’s photo rose to the top.

Her work was evaluated and judged by a distinguished panel of professional photographers and journalism educators from across the country, making this honor especially meaningful.

Jostens representative Michelle Weber visited Tinora last Monday and surprised Alesha, and presented the award during Mrs. Erin Vance’s yearbook class. Alesha was unaware she had won, which made the recognition even more exciting.

Congratulations to Alesha on this incredible accomplishment, and thank you to Mrs. Vance for supporting and inspiring student creativity through the yearbook program. Tinora is proud of you.
