If you are riding the bus from Tinora to Four County the bus will leave Tinora at 8 a.m. If you are driving to Tinora, please park in the TES parking lot. THS Football: Tinora High School will be offering presale football tickets on August 16th, 17th, 18th, 30th, 31st, Sept 1st, 20th, 21st, 22nd, Oct 4th, 5th, 6th, 18th, 19th, 20th. Presale tickets may be purchased from the High School Office between the hours of 9:00AM-3:30PM. Ticket prices are $7 per person. The start time for the home football scrimmage tonight between Tinora High School and Elmwood High School has been moved from 7:00 to 6:30. All scrimmages are free admission. Go Rams!

Reminder: Any THS senior who is signed up for the work study program needs to have his/her paperwork turned into Mr. Siewert no later than August 24. Please contact the high school office with questions.

Attention Tinora Elementary Parents: Northeastern Local Schools will no longer be using the MEALSPLUS Lunch Program. A new program, LINQ, will be used. More information explaining this program will be shared before the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year. Please disregard the MEALSPLUS information that was included in the newsletter that was shared yesterday. Thank you!

Attention students enrolled in CCP classes: Northwest State Community College CCP classes begin on Wednesday, August 23! You may stop by the high school office August 14-17 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to pick up vouchers for your books. Please see the attached flyer. https://5il.co/21ddw

Fall Sports Game Day Workers Needed! Tinora High School Athletics is in need of additional ticket takers for home Varsity Football games and scoreboard operators for Volleyball games! Compensation is $20 per night and training is provided. If interested, contact Athletic Director Jake Essig by emailing jessig@tinora.org.

Did you know? Tinora Football Concessions is the biggest fundraiser for the Tinora Fine Arts Boosters and the funds benefit our entire arts program. Included is the Drama Club, Arts, and the music programs of Band and Choir. They need more volunteers so that the program can run smoothly at our home football games this season. You’ll get into the game at no cost and will be gifted with one food and beverage item as a thank you for helping out. Middle School Sports: Volleyball: July 31st is the first day of team selections 3:30-5:30 in the MS gym. There will be a parent meeting August 7th following the 3:30-5:00 practice in the MS Gym. Cross Country: The first practice will take place August 1st at 5:00. Runners should meet at the shelter house behind the field house. There will be a parents meeting on August 1st at 6:00 inside the football stadium fence. Football: Parent meeting and helmet fitting is Monday, July 31st at 5:00 inside the football stadium fence. First practice will be Tuesday, August 1st 4:00-6:00. Cheer: Practice Monday, July 31st 4:00-6:00 at the football stadium.

THS FOOTBALL: There will be a parents meeting for anyone planning to play high school football tomorrow (Wednesday) June 28th at 7:00 PM in the field house. Attendance is required as we will be going over numerous items important to the season.

The community can welcome and congratulate the track today. Please meet @ General Motors @ 5:00. The team will be escorted through town, and then back to the school.
