The Defiance Development and Visitors Bureau has pioneered the Defiance Community Calendar. Defiance is one of the first communities in the nation to bring a completely innovative approach to the community calendar. The schools, nonprofits, youth sports leagues, restaurants, museums, businesses, churches and more are represented on the calendar making it the one-stop shop for community members to find everything happening in town.

THS Volleyball at Tinora vs. Ottawa Hills at 6:00 PM - Monday, October 17, 2022 To purchase tickets please go to www.ohsaa.org/tickets and select Volleyball, Division III, Ostego. It is possible that tickets may not be on sale until either Sunday evening or Monday morning.

THS Seniors: A representative from Jostens will be at school on Monday, October 10 at 8:40 a.m. Any senior in CCP or not in the building at that time should plan to attend if possible. Students attending Four County do not need to attend because they met with the representative in August.

THS senior pictures will be taken tomorrow, October 6, starting at 7:30 am. FCCC/CCP students should have pictures taken before attending class. Gentlemen are expected to wear a shirt and tie, and ladies are expected to wear a nice shirt or dress. This picture will be used for the yearbook.

THS Football: Tinora vs. Paulding (A) Oct. 7, 2022 7 PM Military Appreciation Night. This Friday will be Military Appreciation Night, all current and former military service members will gain free entry to Friday night's game. Paulding will recognize all veterans in attendance prior to the national anthem.
Gates/Ticket Information: Gates will open for Friday's game at 5:30 pm. All tickets will be sold at the gate for $6, no presale.
Junior and seniors: Volunteers are still needed to sell peanuts and almonds at tonight's home volleyball match for the after prom fundraiser.

Open Coaching Position - Archery Coach (Grades 4-12)
Tinora is in the process of searching for someone to take over the Archery Head Coaching position to continue the Archery In Our Schools program. (https://www.naspschools.org) BAI certification is required. A certification class has been scheduled in the area for Wednesday, November 9, 2022. The class will be held at the Montpelier Superior Athletic Complex.
