Attention TES Parents of 4th Grade Boys: Basketball Skill Development Open Gyms will be held on Tuesday evenings each week until Christmas from 7:00-8:00 PM in the Tinora Elementary Gym. All Tinora Elementary 4th Grade boys are invited to attend. The Open Gyms will be free of charge and will focus on basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. Dates for the Open Gyms include November 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29 and December 6, 13, & 20. More information concerning 4th Grade boys basketball after the new year will be shared at a later date. Parents of freshmen, please join us on Tuesday, November 1st during parent/teacher conferences for an informational meeting. The meeting will start at 6 pm in the HS gymnasium. Mrs. Rinkel and Mr. Siewert will be communicating freshmen specific information for the school year. The meeting should last about an hour. Students are welcome to join.
A representative from Maumee Valley Guidance will also be here to speak about mental health immediately before the meeting at 5:45 pm. Please plan to attend!

The Tinora German Club will be selling traditional Advent calendars this year starting today, until they are sold out. Calendars will be $4 a piece. Checks can be made out to Tinora German Club. To purchase your Advent calendar(s), please contact a German student or email Herr Acker at tacker@tinora.org. Mrs. Schafer in the High School office will also have calendars available during the school day.
On Friday, October 28, there is no school for THS students. However, Four County is in session. If your student rides the bus to Four County from the school, we will still transport them from Tinora to Four County and back to Tinora in the afternoon. Regular bus routes WILL NOT operate on Friday, October 28. You will need to get your student to the school to ride the bus to Four County. The bus will leave from Tinora at 8 a.m. and return at the end of the day at 3 p.m.
PROJECT NOEL provides assistance to all families in the Tinora school district with children birth to age 18 for the 2022 Christmas season. If you could use some help to provide clothing and toys for your children this Christmas, please complete the attached application. (The application is fillable if you use Adobe Acrobat.) Application deadline is November 15, 2022. This program is organized by a group of local businesses, churches, organizations and families. TMS Gear is now available at https://stores.higbea.com/tmsfundraiser2022/shop/home. Paper order forms were sent home with students yesterday. All orders and payment must be in by Monday, November 6. You may pick up orders at Higbea or have them delivered to your student at TMS.
THS students and parents: Picture retakes are tomorrow, October 26, for those students who missed picture day or want to have their pictures retaken.

Attention TES Parents: Costume Day will be this Thursday, October 27th. Please note that students are not to bring any sort of weapon, representation of a weapon, represent blood/gore, or represent any other sort of violence.
Also, we will be having the PTO Fall Festival that afternoon, so having appropriate footwear will be important.
