The Tinora Athletic Boosters will be having a tailgate party in association with Seasoned Mobile Grill at this Fridays home football game vs. Hicksville from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Seasoned Mobile Grill will be set up at the south entrance of the PAC. Parents of TMS & THS Students,
On Tuesday, October 24 TMS & THS will be performing a lockdown drill followed by a mock reunification drill involving a small group of students and parents. Families of those students involved in the mock reunification drill have already been notified. If you have not been notified, your student IS NOT involved in the mock reunification drill. In an attempt to keep everyone informed, please see the letter below for general information regarding this drill. If school is closed on October 24, the drill will occur on October 25.

Saturday, October 14th (Chipotle) - Join us to raise money for Alek Bell, third grader at Fairview Elementary and son of Heidi and John Bell. Heidi is the Director of Student Services at Tinora. Alek was recently diagnosed with a rare genetic neurological condition, adrenoleukodystrophy. The family is facing ongoing medical and travel costs. https://5il.co/26yz2

The Athletic Boosters will be voting to put new bylaws into effect. Our next meeting will be held on October 30th, 2023 at Tinora High School in the cafeteria. If the new bylaws are to be voted in, we will be voting to have trustees and an assistant treasurer added to our board of directors. If anyone from the community would like to be a part of the athletic boosters, this is the perfect time to come aboard.
Reminder: THS will operate on a 1-hour early dismissal schedule tomorrow (October 10). We WILL NOT be dismissing early.

The Central Office has organized a community event fundraiser to benefit our supporting organizations. On Thursday November 16, from 7-8:30 pm the district is hosting world-renowned magician and illusionist, Krendl, to perform a family-oriented performance at the TPAC. Krendl’s extensive magic career has been in traveling the world serving the resort, theater, casino and cruise entertainment industry. We are very fortunate to have him visit Defiance, thanks to a local connection. AFTER PROM - Anyone interested in a After Prom Raffle ticket, they will be sold at the Program table tonight at the Football game. The raffle will be on Oct. 21 at the Eagles.
